In 1988, she was named "Funniest Woman in Philadelphia," which led to her first nationl television appearance on "The Wil Shriner Show." She appeared on VH-1's "Fools for Love," "VH-1's Standup Spotlight," and A&E's "Comedy on the Road."

She's written for Fox's "Comic Strip Live" and her writing is regularly featured in the D.C. Examiner. Traci is frequently a Top Cop in US Weekly's popular Fashion Police feature.

On April 1, 1999, Skene and McKim launched SHECKYmagazine.com as a monthly online magazine "dedicated to the glorification of standup comedy." Today, their popular "blog-azine" is read by thousands of comedians and comedy fans from 47 countries. USA Today called them "charming, sincere and helpful." They've published smart and insightful interviews with such comedy luminaries as Dick Cavett, Shelley Berman, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Lewis Black, Richard Lewis and Mitch Hedberg.
