INTERNET PUBLISHING/EDITING/WRITING--1999 to present

Co-creator and managing editor of SHECKYmagazine.com a monthly online magazine about standup comedy. Launched April 1, 1999, the site has regular readers from 47 countries. Each issue contains features, interviews and humor by, for and about standup comedy. The Boston Globe has called SHECKYmagazine "smart and funny" and it's been featured in the New York Times, USA Today and on WCBS News Radio.

Traci established "Road Atlas Shrugged," in 2008. Described as "Profound analysis mixed with sheer idiocy," the blog features her regular musings on pop cultuer, politics and travel.

COMEDY WRITING 2001 to present

Regular contributor to Us Weekly's Fashion Police. The regular feature, in which comedy writers comment on the fashionable fashion choices of Hollywood's "beautiful people," is the most popular department in Wenner Media's weekly celebrity magazine.

•  Writer and co-creator (with Brian McKim) of "The John DeBella Show...A Delightful Alternative To Dead Air!"
•  Wrote daily comedy monologue, jokes and taped segments for host
•  Wrote promos, press releases, and coordinated ad campaigns
•  Booked, coordinated talent and guests for in-studio guest interviews
•  Featured guests included Captain Kangaroo, John Astin, Howie Mandel, Jon Polito and The Moody Blues.
•   Assisted in the planning and production of a week of live broadcasts from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.


FREE-LANCE TELEVISION WRITER--1992 to 1995

•  Wrote jokes for weekly monologue of Wayne Cotter, host of Fox Television's Comic Strip Live.


FREELANCE PUBLICIST--1996 to 1998

Producer, creative director, press liaison and manager for Vincent Silvestro's "Hot to Trot 1997-98 North American Tour." The Australian daredevil's act features a horse, a specially-designed harness racing sulky and 2,000 pyrotechnic explosions. His exploits have been featured on Real TV, ESPN2 and The Lighter Side of Sports and the Arts & Entertainment Network.


FREELANCE WRITER/EDITOR, MERIT INDUSTRIES--1996/97

I wrote over 10,000 questions and answers for Trivia Whiz and Trivia Whiz XL, computerized interactive video games.


FREELANCE WRITER/CONSULTANT (Various clients)--1994 to present

Wrote treatments and scripts for various clients including Prime Productions, producers of television commercials and industrial film, Real Time Media, an interactive internet company and PaineWebber.


COMEDY INSTRUCTOR--1986-87

Taught "How to do Stand-Up Comedy" course for Philadelphia's Learning Annex. Developed curriculum for monthlong course involving public speaking, comedy writing and the business of stand-up comedy.


SKILLS

Excellent communication and organizational skills. I have a wide range of writing experience, ranging from standup comedy, gag writing, radio writing and sitcom writing. I co-wrote "Everybody's Got One," a screenplay that reached the semifinals of the Set In Philly contest at the 1998 Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema.

I also have working knowledge of image editing-- taking, scanning and cropping all art for my blog. I have extensive knowledge of travel and the entertainment industry.
